WEEK 6
This week was mainly focus on second FYP 1 briefing (28 August 2019) that
is Workshop on Introduction (Chapter 1)
and Literature Review (Chapter 2) Writing. This briefing held at TTL2 on
3pm until 5pm and attendance to all student who take FYP 1 are compulsory. This
briefing was conducted by Sir Imran Mohammad Sofi because he in charge for all FYP 1 briefing.
Sir Imran was explain about Introduction (chapter 1) and Literature
Review (Chapter 2).
Chapter 1: Introduction
- Background of Project: student need to review the
subject area, previous area and relevant history regarding the project
that been selected.
- Problem Statement: student need to find the problem
of current issue and ways how to solve the problem.
- Objectives of the project:
Every project that been selected need objective minimum three and maximum
five.
- Significance of the project:
Is the research worth doing? Why the audience would read it? Why audience
should support the project?
- Scope and Limitation:
every project must have scope that only what is covered and limitations is
anything that can't be avoided.
- Summary:
Overview of the project.
Chapter
2: Literature Review
Students
need to find suitable article or scholars
papers that are relate to their projects. The research paper should
consists current knowledge and findings that have anything to do with any
aspects of the projects. Literature
review are very important for the project, which is student need to study the
research and compare with previous project. Then, student need to find minimum
five research paper that relate to their project and also have theoretical and
methodological contributions to the project.
